Contact your airline or travel agent

It is of paramount importance to communicate with your airline in order to inform them about the situation so that you can get assistance and a solution to the problem. In general terms early communication with your airline is essential. Travel agents also assist just in case you booked through a travel agent.

Check the new proposed time of the aircraft or alternative aircraft

If you have been given an alternative flight, ensure that you take heed of the new times and plan to depart at the time that you have been allotted. Being early to reschedule flights further reduces the risk of additional delays.
